Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that will assist you purchasing and using our New Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card.

1. Where and how do I buy the new Mic Mac Mall Gift Card?

Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Cards can be purchased in any denomination from $10 to $500 thru our Guest Services location during all mall hours. Guest Services is located on Level 1 across from Cinnabon. They can also be purchased thru our Management Office during office hours Monday Friday 9am. To 4:30pm. On line and phone orders are not available at this time. Cash, debit card, VISA, MasterCard are accepted forms of payment

2. Is there an Activation Fee associated with buying the Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card?

Yes, each card is subject to an activation fee of $3.00 per card (includes HST). Your gift card will never lose value; bank fees or service charges will never be deducted from the card.

3. Where can Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Cards be used?

Approximately 95% of Mic Mac Mall stores including Kent, Chapters and TAG accept the New Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card.
Please check with Guest Services or the Mic Mac Mall Management Office for a list of stores that do not accept the New Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card.

4. How do I use the Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card?

Before you start shopping make sure the store redeems the Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card. If the answer is yes, before ringing through your purchase, let the retail sales associate know you are using the Mall Gift Card. Also make sure the store knows how much money is on your shop card. To check your gift card you can call 1-800-755-8608 24 hours a day or visit www.getmybalance.com or use one of our swipe card units available at Guest Services or any of our VICCI directory boards in the mall.

5. Can I add more money to my Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card?

For security purposes the Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card cannot be reloaded.

6. What if I want to return the purchase I made using the New Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card?

Depending on the retailer’s return policy, you may receive a store credit, or where permitted a refund on merchandise can be credited to the Gift Card, which is why you should keep the gift card until you know a refund will not be required. This refund to the Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Card can take 3 to 7 business days before the credit appears.

7. Do Mic Mac Mall MasterCard® Gift Cards ever expire?

The balance on your Mic Mall MasterCard® Gift Card is always maintained. Fees and service charges will never be deducted from your gift card. However, if there is a remaining balance on the card after the magnetic stripe has expired (there is an expiry date printed on the front of each Gift Card) similar to a credit card security feature, please visit our Guest Services location for a card replacement.

8. Corporate Orders

If you are interested in a Corporate order please call our Mic Mac Mall Management Office Monday to Friday from 9am. 5pm. (902) 463-5891 to place your order. We will be happy to prepare your order and have it available for pick up at either our Management Office or our Guest Services location.

9. Will my old Mic Mac Mall gift cards still be honored?

Yes, all Mic Mac Mall Gift Cards will be accepted at participating retailers.
